  • Celia King

    With more than 25 years of experience building effective teams, Celia King makes bottom line business impact through Equine Executive Leadership Coaching. It refreshes you and/or your team by providing hands-on leadership challenges with horses and reflective conversations to target your specific business needs.

    Her team workshops and one-on-one leadership coaching programs build strong interpersonal skills and relational/emotional intelligence that companies and individuals need for stability and employee retention as well as growth in the midst of a rapidly changing business environment.

    Celia earned her master’s degree in communication at the University of Akron, focusing on how strong, successful teams communicate. To that she’s added:

    Equine Assisted Learning Certification from Equine Experiential Education Association

    MBTI Master Practitioner Certification because understanding personalities strengthens teams.

    CQ Certification from the Cultural Intelligence Center because cultural differences shape teams

    Studies in emotional intelligence and strengths-based approaches

    Experiential education and the neuroscience of how stress affects teams

    Her own team-building experiences.

    Leadership coaching with Celia is a combination of academic ideas, practical experience, and common sense. Together with a team of associates, Celia has worked with diverse groups, including college students studying abroad, professional ministers leading congregations, medical professionals leading hospitals and executives working for Fortune 500 companies throughout Ohio.

  • Melanie Stuthard

    Melanie is in her 26th year of teaching, and almost all of those years have been spent teaching 8th grade American History at Revere Middle School in Bath. She earned her BS and MA degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Akron, and she also holds an MA degree in American History and Government from Ashland University.

    Along with being a classroom teacher, Melanie currently serves as the middle school social studies department chair, is a member of Revere’s Innovation Team, mentors new teachers and student teachers, and is the coordinator of the annual Washington, DC Trip.

    Melanie has received several district, county and state awards including being named the 2014 Ohio History Teacher of the year, part of the 2104 Summit County All-County Teacher Team, Ohio’s 2013 James Madison Memorial Fellow, and the 2012 Revere Distinguished Teacher Award. She has also presented at several state and national conferences.

    Throughout her career in education, Melanie has experienced the effects of teacher isolation, burn-out, frustration, and exhaustion. She is passionate about providing a safe space for educators to share their experiences and to provide career-specific coaching.

  • Jeff Smith

    Out of all of Jeff’s experiences, his highest priority has been that of being a husband for twenty-six years to the love of his life and as a father to his adult son and daughter. He has worked diligently, and with humility to instill Christian truths and practices into his personal and professional life.


    Additionally, Jeff holds an MBA from Kent State University and has had roles in senior leadership and management at three fortune 500 corporations as well as two mid-sized businesses. He has focused much of his professional career pursuing an upward trajectory, adding responsibilities as he has climbed the corporate ladder. Through this process, he has been blessed to have been coached and mentored by top business leaders he respected. Through these experiences, he formed lasting and valuable personal and professional relationships.

    Jeff additionally participated in the Northeast Ohio chapter of Vistage, a CEO and business leader peer group design for business and life transformations. This shed light on how valuable life and executive coaching could be and inspired him to give back in this same way.

    Jeff believes we are either coming out of adversity, in the midst of adverse challenges, or about to face an adverse situation. Through all of this, God is faithful and he will not let us be tempted beyond our ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
